It will be so nice if the winners of your recommendation would send a before-and-after photo. Tfs.

Moving the bed definitely! But I think 2 floor lamps are a little too much lamps for a room is a total of 4 lamps next to each other ! π€ perhaps a huge leaner Mirror overlapping the bench would give it more brightness and appearance of a bigger space π

1:53 that's what she said

If you said the square bed frame shouldnβt be in the vaulted wall because it makes the slant more noticeable, then why should there be a rectangular art piece on it?

The bed in front of the window
26th January 2018 at 10:26 pm
I would have to say moving the bed and readjusting the curtain bar.

26th January 2018 at 10:26 pm
The direction of the bed and curtains, art.

What if the only vent in the room is in front of the windows? Would you still place a bed there? Is there a workaround?

moving her bed and raising the curtains will definitely make a difference she should use lighter curtains to warm the room up some

This woman is a genius!!!

Moving the bed in a bedroom always makes the biggest change since its the focal point of the room. The lamp height on each side of the bed will make the second biggest change. I β€ your suggestions!

I love the all the ideas. I live in California aka earthquake country. So for that reason I am afraid to have any glass or art work or anything that could fall on me, when I'm sleeping. Because I already have had a ceiling light fixture dome crash on my head during a small earth quake here. I think the fastest easiest thing they should do is raise the curtains. I would love to see the after pics !!

Donβt understand why would anyone like to block their windows n stare at a wall while sitting on bed .. I hate tv in bedroom n have 3 huge windows with amazing city view .. canβt even think of blocking it with bed. My bed is on the only wall in the room .. even closet has full length mirror to bring the view in .. windows are your opening to fresh air n view out of your closed walls.. bad idea anyway to block them with furniture

Moving the bed and taking the curtains to the ceiling with better lighting will make the biggest change! Wonderful tutorial by the way…love WWRD!

Having the bed in front of the window creates a harmonious picture. A focal point. That's what you want to see first, when you enter into your bedroom, and the rest i will leave to your imagination……….

I know I'm late to the party, but I have to say, raising the curtain height. The tip how the curtains continued the vaulted line is the best thing I've learned today. Thanks. π

Loved that your ideas were all doable for an average person! I was amazed at how much taller the room seemed with just moving the curtains up!! Love your work! Totally agree with the comment that you should be on HGTV, your spark and flair will leave them in the dust!! π
26th January 2018 at 10:26 pm
I suggest to have false ceiling for the sloping ceiling…nice LED lights IN THE CEILING..

Sad that I didn't get to see the finished product for her π© I really liked everything you said on there though. I'm learning so much from you. I think the biggest change is where the bed is being moved to. π
